    Position Overview:
    The Alps Controls Product Specialist, Valves & Acuators | Flow takes ownership of our Flow Metering Devices as well as Valve & Actuator product category. This is an exciting opportunity to build expertise in a complex field while helping drive the success of a critical product line.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Take ownership of the Flow Metering Devices & Accessories product category and drive its growth.
    • Support customers with technical product selection, quotes, orders, and issue resolution./li>
    • Become a subject matter expert through hands-on learning and manufacturer-led training (occasional travel 1-2 times per year; expenses covered).
    • Collaborate with sales, customer experience, and leadership teams to align on customer needs and deliver solutions.
    • Contribute ideas to improve website functionality and internal processes for a better customer experience.
    • Respond to and manage flow-related support tickets, keeping stakeholders informed throughout.

    Qualifications:
    • Strong technical aptitude and eagerness to learn about flow metering devices and accessories.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Customer-focused mindset with a sense of urgency.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Experience in customer support, product management, or a technical role is preferred but not required.

  • Regional Sales Manager

    Focus your daily efforts on driving sales of building automation and HVAC products and solutions in your assigned territory. Proactively manage, track, and document your sales activity — and travel!

    Regional Sales Manager

    Department: Sales
    Reports to: National Sales Director

    Position Overview:
    The Alps Controls Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is focused on driving sales for building automation and HVAC products and solutions in their assigned territories by 1) expanding share of wallet spend with current customers, customer retainment, and supporting new customer growth; 2) proactively managing, tracking, and documenting sales activity; and 3) promoting, creating awareness, and training customers on products represented by Alps Controls. The territory includes a travel expectation of 25%+. The Regional Sales Manager will report to the National Sales Director and will have no direct reports.

    Primary Responsibilities include:

    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers at all position levels through civic and professional meetings, sales meetings, workshops, joint sales calls, and trade shows.
    • Support customers by facilitating product training, pulling in technical support as needed, and pursuing project quotes
    • Manage the delivery of marketing materials and promotions
    • Prospecting and onboarding new accounts
    • Generate new business by highlighting prospective new clients
    • Developing strategies and business plans to maintain greater than market growth across the account base and to meet or exceed Alps Controls sales targets
    • Monitor account sales activity and conduct regular reviews with customers
    • Coordinate efforts between all Alps Controls departments to support customer needs
    • Create, maintain, and implement a sales and marketing calendar of activities to include but not limited to:
      • Customer product training
      • Marketing promotions
      • New product launches
      • Customer meetings

    Secondary Responsibilities include:
    • Respond promptly to all sales inquiries
    • Assist customers in navigating our online marketplace/adding users to accounts
    • Enter sales related activities into CRM
    • Build relationships with suppliers/vendors in support of Alps Controls
    • Conduct industry research in support of customer sales presentations
    • Meet regularly with sales supervisor to discuss progress
    • Participate in online and in-person product trainings
    • Provide accounts payable support for past due accounts

    Measurables
    • Work with direct supervisor to ensure understanding of quarterly and annual initiatives

    Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Education, and Experience
    • 3+ years experience with building automation controls/HVAC Products
    • 3+ years experience calling on all employee levels in controls and mechanical contracting market segment
    • Excellent relationship building skills
    • Good mix of account management and new business development skills
    • Strong sales and marketing background with a track record of success in achieving goals
    • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
